New Delhi: The National
Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against six Khalistani
terrorists in Jalalabad, Punjab bomb blast case. The NIA filed the chargesheet
against Sukhwinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh alias Gora, Ranjit Singh, all from
Ferozepur, Parveen Singh from Fazilka besides Habib Khan (Pakistani national)
and Lakhbir Singh Rode, a Pakistan-based designated terrorist.
They have been charged under various Sections of the Explosive Substances Act; Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act; Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and section 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code before the NIA Special Court, SAS Nagar, Punjab. The case relates to a bomb explosion in Jalalabad town of Fazilka district of Punjab on September 15, 2021 in which one person was killed.
