JAMMU, Jun 8: Tirupati Balaji Temple, located amidst the scenic Shivalik forests in Majeen in Jammu and Kashmir, opened its doors for devotees on Thursday.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the temple of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy through video conferencing. Tirupati Balaji Temple, built on a 62-acre land, is set to become one of the largest temples in the Jammu region and is expected to boost religious and pilgrimage tourism in the Union territory.
Jammu and Kashmir L-G Manoj Sinha along Union Ministers Jitendra Singh and G Kishan Reddy, inaugurated the Tirupati Balaji temple in Jammu.
