Jammu: Chaar Sahibzade Gold Cup hockey tournament Masters both the finals in men & Women category were played. In the first final of women hockey match played today in which Punjab blue beats Himachal by 7-1 and in the Mens final between Jammu legends and Himachal ended in draw by 3-3 goals and the match was decided Via Tie Breaker. The tournament was played on league basis.
In the women final, Gurpreet Kour of Punjab scored a hat trick out of total scores of seven goals, while Himachal scored only one goal. And in the second final played between Himachal and Jammu Legends (Mens) both the teams scored three goals each and the match was decided via Tie Breaker and finally the Jammu Legends won the match.
The first match was inaugurated by S Balvinder Singh Vice President DGPC Jammu & Mahant Raje Bitu. am Lal arma Ex-Minister was the Chief guest for the second final played between Jammu legend v/s Himachal (Mens). Some of the prominent National Hockey players and Hockey lovers who were present to witness the finals, S Janak Singh , S Iqbal Singh, S H S Reen, S Jaswinder Singh, S Kuldip Singh S Angat Singh all former National Hockey players, S Rajinder Singh Sudan, S Manjit Singh bali, S aranjit Singh, S Jasbir Singh.
First women final was supervised by Ms Anjali Thakur & Ms Minak i as umpires and second Mens final, S Satwant Singh & Mr Sahil were the umpires. S M S Reen was the tournament Director of CHAAR SAHIBZADE hockey Gold Cup (Masters). The Tournament was organized by NRI Association Jammu headed by S Jaswinder Singh Kuku , S Gurvinder Singh& Rajat Mathur in collaboration with JKUT Religious Tourism Culture & Heritage Trust headed by Mahant Raje Bitu.
S Balvinder Singh President of Khelo Master Hockey Game association who organized this tournament expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and collaborators who contributed to the success of the CHAAR SAHIBZADE TOURNAMENT(Masters). The organizers also extended sincere thanks to the J&K Sports council for their full support in the successful conduct of the tournament.
