JAMMU: Team Jammu and Kashmir showcased their prowess in a thrilling Under-17 Cricket Match, securing their second consecutive victory against the DAV Team at the Railway Ground Sounpur, Patna. The match, part of the 67th National Games organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), witnessed the participation of 43 teams from across the nation.
In a competitive encounter, J&K batted first, setting a commendable total of 149. The DAV Team, batting second, fought valiantly but fell short by a narrow margin of 5 runs in the final over, securing J&K's entry into the pre-quarterfinals.
Expressing joy and pride, Team Coach Zahoor Rather and Mukesh Sharma congratulated the players for their exceptional performance. They lauded the team's strategic play and expressed optimism for their success in upcoming matches.
