CRPF wins third quarterfinal through shoot-out

 



JAMMU: On the Seventh Day of the   72nd  All India Police Hockey Championship  being held at Jammu  organized By Jammu and Kashmir Police

CISF won  the first match trouncing Jammu and Kashmir Police by 5-1  goals.  Scorers were Yograj Singh  JR.No.03 (1st & 3rd  goal), 2nd  goal scored by  Dheeraj Vats  JR.No.99,  4th & 5th goal scored by Vishal Jit Singh  Jr. No. 09.  Yograj Singh JR.No.03. was declared as player of the match for his brilliant performance. The chief guest of the match was Vijay Kumar-IPS ADGP Armed and Law & Order, J&K

In the second match BSF won the game against Uttar Pradesh Police by 2-1. Goals scorers were Harminder Singh JR.No.02 (1st  goal), 2nd goal scored by Daljit Singh JR.No.12.

Was declared as player of the match for his brilliant performance . Chief Guest of the match was Kulbir Singh-SSP CO IRP-18TH Bn.

The third match quarter final ended in a 4-4 draw between ITBP  V/S CRPF .

Match was won  by CRPF  via shootout. Scorers were Saroj Ekka  JR.No.04(1st   & 3rd goal), 2nd goal scored by Mohd Wasiullah Khan  JR.No.10, 4th goal scored by Samsher Jr. No.12 and ITBP goal scorers are M C Meetei JR.No.32(1st), 2nd ,3rd,4th goals  scored by Ankit JR.No.21.  Samsher JR.No.12 was declared as player of the match for his brilliant performance. Chief guest of the match was Vivekananda Rai-IRS Director Tourism Jammu.

The 4th quarter final was played between punjab police v/s west bengal police, in which Punjab Police won by 10-0 goal. Scorers were Kanwarjeet Singh JR.No.25 (1st   ,2nd, 4th and 7th goals), 3rd and 6th  goals  scored by Varinder Singh  JR.No.22,  5h goal scored by Sarbjit Singh   JR. NO.20, 8th goal scored by Pawandeep Singh   Jr. No. 15 and 9th goal scored by Hardeep Singh JR No. 03 and 10th goal scored by Jagmeet Singh JR No. 11. Kanwarjeet Singh   JR.No.25 was declared as player of the match for his brilliant performance.  Chief guest of the match was Mohammad Hanif - Chief Sports Officer J&K Sports Council.
