Jammu: A complaint was lodged at PS Janipur regarding
theft in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Janipur
On this case FIR No. 131/2021 U/S 457/380 IPC got
registered at PS Janipur and investigation started.
After this special police teams of PS Janipur under the
supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar were constituted. The team led by SHO PS
Janipur Inspr Ajaz Haider assisted by PSI Anil Kumar did strenuous efforts and
after analysis of CCTV footages and CDR / tower location finally nabbed one
accused person namely Shubam S/O Late Satish Kumar R/O H.No. 319, Gurha Qasim
Bakshi Nagar A/P Subash Nagar Jammu. During sustained questioning the accused
person confessed his involvement in the above said case and on his disclosure
following 4 tolas of stolen gold ornaments were
recovered from his possession:
(1). One gold chain and locket
(2). Two gold rings
(3). One pair of studs
Further investigation of the case is going on.
