Seven different vehicles involved in illegal mining, seized by Jammu Police

Jammu: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams made a massive recovery of vehicles involved in illegal mining. The police teams of PS Domana, PS Arnia, PS Jhajjar Kotli, PP Chatha and I/C PP Talab Tillo acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized 07 different vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicles seized are as under:

One trolley without Registration No, by PS Domana.  

One trolley without registration No, by PS Arnia. 

One tipper bearing Registration No.JK02BB/5156, by PS Jhajjar Kotli.

Two tractors bearing Registration numbers JK02BR/9460 and JK02CT/2537, by PP Chatha.

Two tippers bearing registration no. JK02CW 0315 and JK02CE 2939, by PP Talab Tillo. 

The overall recoveries were made by SHO PS Domana Inspr Mahesh Sharma, SHO PS Arnia Inspr Tilak Raj, SHO PS Jhajjar Kotli Inspr Devinder Singh, I/C PP Chatha SI Ranjit Singh Chib, I/C PP Talab Tillo PSI Rajesh Kumar in their respective jurisdictions.

DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.

The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
